Abdul Majid Khan
Senior Consultant – Banking & Energy

He has started his professional life as Advocate in December 1994 as Associate Advocate with Aziz Law Associate and
then joined Cornelius, Lane & Mufti as Associate Advocate in 1996. In 2001 he joined Private Power & Infrastructure Board as the Manager Legal where after he joined Walker Martineau & Saleem as the Senior Associate. He also served in National Transmission & Despatch Company Limited as its Company Secretary / Legal & Corporate Affairs Directorbefore he stepped as Senior Legal Advisor in Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited. His services were again taken as Director Legal by Private Power & Infrastructure Board in 2007. In 2012 Mr. Khan joined MCB Bank Limited as the Group Head – Legal Affairs. The Senior Consultant has been providing, especially to the Power & Banking Sector of Pakistan, legal advisory support which involves a variety of issues to be dealt with such as providing legal advice on contractual issues and multiple regulatory and legal aspects; reviewing, drafting, vetting and negotiating new contracts.

Fawad Ahmed

He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is the President, Middle East & South Asia Region, BiFringenceLLC, USA a technology based consulting and financial advisory company. He served as Financial Advisor to Abu Dhabi Group (ADG), having investments in Telecom, Banking, Insurance, Real Estate and Healthcare. He worked in this role from 2011 to 2014 and was responsible for managing group level initiatives, including monitoring of financial performance of designated group companies, evaluate and develop revised business plans. Before joining ADG, he was working as an Executive Vice President with MCB Bank Limited. Earlier, he was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he served for more than eight years. The Financial Consultant has extensive experience of financial management, business advisory and operations and in challenging and complex business environment; including consulting roles in banking, power, telecom, healthcare and manufacturing sectors. The expertise include creating business plans and feasibility studies, business strategy development, financial evaluations, implementation of business plans and strategy, design and implementation of effective internal controls systems. He has substantial experience of design, implementation and evaluation business processes in automated environments to improve operational efficiencies and controls. He is currently President Middle East & South Asia.

 

SHAHRYAR LODHI

Immigration Consultant

Shahryar Lodhi is a practicing High Court Advocate. He commenced practice in UK after receiving the LL.B degree (1998-2001) from University of Punjab. He holds an LLM from University of Westminster, United Kingdom. Before joining C&T Law, he has worked for a renowned law firm in UK. He is also involved in development sector and works with Community Development Council, Pakistan and is also lecturing at the leading institutes in Islamabad. He has extensive experience in Immigration laws and his current areas of focus are Immigration, Banking, Energy and Employment.
